マイナビ国際派就職 in 東京

１２月２１日(火)、２２日(水)の２日間、東京・汐留のペルサール汐留で開催された、就職イベントの一つである「マイナビ国際派就職」に参加してきました

この就職イベントは、海外留学生、留学経験者、バイリンガルを対象にしているため、国際経験が豊富な人材を求めている、約９０社の企業や政府機関がブースを出展していました。

僕は留学経験を持っていないため、募集対象からは外れてしまう面もありましたが、「英語を使った仕事に就きたい！」という強い希望を持っているため、何よりも行動することが大事だと考え、会場に足を運びました。

イベント会場に入場する際、学生受付ブースで大学名と氏名が書かれたプラカードを身に付けないといけないのですが、「Sydney of University」「Washington of University」のように海外の大学名が書かれたカードを首にぶら下げた学生が多数いました。僕は留学経験はもちろんのこと、海外旅行でさえ未経験のため、それらの学生に対して、強い嫉妬心や劣等感を覚えました(苦笑)しかし、「海外に関わる仕事がしたい！」という夢を持っているため、周囲の視線を気にすることは辞め、自分のことだけに集中することを心掛けました。

僕は主に商社やメーカーを中心にブースを訪問しました。そして、ブースで会社説明を聞き、そのあとに興味を持っていた企業の人事の方と一対一の面談を受けました。

予想していた通り、面談では海外留学の経験が無いこと、自分の英語力はどのレベルなのかを中心に突っ込まれました(笑)それらの質問は想定範囲内だったため、何とか切り抜けることができたと思います。そして、面談を受けた複数の企業の中から、次のステップに進んでほしいというご連絡も頂くことができました。

同じイベントに参加していた学生達と比較し、僕は英語力や国際経験の面では明らかに劣っています。しかし、「絶対に海外に携われる仕事がしたい！」という想いでは誰にも負けない自信があります。だから、次の選考に進めることになった企業の中で、ご縁のある企業が見つかって欲しいと神に祈るような想いです。

この２日間、常に自分のことに集中していましたので、イベントがきっかけで新しい友人や仲間はできませんでした。ただ、国際経験が豊富な参加者達に混じったことが動機となり、「もっと英語力を伸ばしたい」「海外の文化や習慣を理解したい」「絶対に海外に関われる仕事がしたい」という気持ちを更に強くすることができました。今後、国際関係のイベント等に積極的に参加して、自分の気持ちを奮い立たせてモチベーションを高めていきたいと思いました。

tiredness :(

  The final semester in my university life has finally started since September 25.  In this term till next March, I have a goal that I want to achieve.
  First, I hope I want to have a wide connection with a lot people and make it much closer than my expectation.  Actually, my university life have began since 2006 was almost not successful with regard to human relationship.  I always jealous of others who have many friends and can have many opportunities to hold a drinking party after graduation.  That's why my strong desire for this semester is to get a chance to be familiar with others.   I don't want to do again the same mistake as I have ever done before.  This semester will be final chance for me to grow myself and make me happy :D   It depends on myself  and others doesn't do anything for my profit and satisfaction.  Let's keep it mind!! 
  I have more things to want to talk about on this blog, but have to prepare for part-time job that will start from 6 pm.   In addition to a thing on first paragraph, It's my big responsibility to keep working by next March.  In fact, I have never continued any jobs for a long period until now.  I absolutely don't quit the work!!  This is one of my goals.
  Anyway, I'll try and hang in there!! 

hot hot hot days :-D

this has been the second diary since i began to update what i think on blogspot.  I am Japanese and live in Okayama Prefecture which has been located between Hiroshima and Hyogo.  Okayama is my hometown, but someone often says that what is famous food? who is the most famous person?  In fact, there are many food and famous person from Okayama around your life.  You can know about it if you search about it on Internet, but i do not say about it because it is boring for me to talk about it on my blog..
By the way, this summer is too hot!!!!!  Honestly, I do not want to go out for anywhere.  I always want to stay at very cool room :-D
Now, I have been working at Internet cafe called Ekimae Cafe in Japanese near the Okayama station.  This store has been turned on the Air conditioner in a day so it makes me comfortable while my working.  I often think I wish the Internet Cafe were my house.  Anyway, this unusual hot day during summer should be over so soon!!  I wish Autumn season comes as soon as possible.
Today, i received my grade during first semester and obtained two class cradits.  As a result, i finally got a right for graduation from university.  That's why I'm making a plan about my direction for second semester.  I look forward to having time at university for six months because I do not have to worry about if i can graduate.  It'll be nice adventure!!  I wanna go to university and make a new friend!! 

The first day

hi, i began to write down my diary on this blog site.
Actually, I have already had a few blog sites such as mixi and ameblo but they don't feel like making me uploading my diary in English.
Through Blogspot, i hope that would like to write down things about who I am and what I did on that day.
It might be boring and not easy to upload my daily life every day, but i want to do upload it as my basic rule in my lifestyle, so i absolutely promise to do that!
At the same time with blogspot, I am always trying to add what I do and did on Twitter.  I love Twitter. The revolutionary community site has been becoming one of my favorite things since this May or June.   That's why I have a plan to want to use Twitter and Blogspot as one of  my main websites.
Anyway, I will try!!!!!   Tomorrow, i have a job interview and it is much more important than other ones I have ever took.   So have to go to bed:)
